Shadows
What is in a shadow that is so intimidating? Is it the color? No, the color is simply the absence of other colors. Its shape? The shape is so inconsistent, it keeps on changing. Its length then? No, the length goes together with the shape? Then what is it? Well, for me, the shadow is intimidating because it reflects the dark side in all humans. Whether we like it or not, all of us have a dark core in us. The drive to sin is in all human form. the stuggle of freedom-unfreedom, the choice between what is good and what is easy is in all of us. The shadow is simply something like a projection...It tells us something we should be aware that is in all of us. But what is in us that stops the hunger in us...what is it? The drive to do the good is in us? Providence it seems is real. There is a call in all of us to do whatever it us we not only can but must. I don't know what else to type at the moment but I would like to leave an important message...The shadow is present when the sun is up because we are presented with the light of good and the reflection of evil at the same time. The shadow is gone when it is a rainy night because we do fail sometimes to choose the light over the reflection.
